gene H. Beaver of Exeter; in his
72nd year. Beloved husband of Hazel
(Snell) Beaver. Dear father of David
and Nancy Beaver of Exeter and
Douglas and Nancy Beaver of Sarnia.
Loving grandfather of Christopher,
Jason and Jeffrey. Brother of Ger-
trude Beaver of Exeter. Predeceased
by three brothers Vernon, Maurice
and Howard. Eugene was master of
Lebanon Forest Lodge, Exeter on its
-Golden Anniversary in 1960; past
president of the Exeter Legion; for-
mer member of Exeter Town Council
and Huron and County Land Regis-
trar for 15 years. Rested at the R.C.
Dinney Funeral Home, Main Street,
Exeter: The complete • funeral service
was held at the funeral home on
Monday, June 27. Rev. Richard
Hawley officiated. Interment Exeter

Mr. Louis Harold Soper of 111
Queen St., Hensall formerly of Zu-
rich in his 78th year. Beloved hus-
band of the former Erma Crisp. Mr.
Soper is predeceased by two wive*,
the late Verna Wisson (1949) and
the late Margaret Gingerich (1978).

COLEMAN - Mary Elizabeth Cole
man of 54 John St., Seaforth passed
away at Seaforth Community Hospi-
tal on June 25, 1988. Born in Hib-
bert Twp. near Cromarty on 'April
28, 1911, she was the daughter of
the late Edgar Allen and Janet Scott.
On April 9, 1938 she was married to
Harold Coleman of Staffs and farmed
in Hibbert Twp. for some 25 years
before moving to Seaforth. Mary
was a member of First Presbyterian
Church, Seaforth and was a dietary
employee at Seaforth Community
Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed
her flowers, quilting, euchre, watch-
ing fastball tournaments and reorga-
nized and managed the shuffleboard
courts for three years at C4th Com-
munity Centre. Mrs. Coleman is sur-
vived -by her husband as well as four
children, John and his wife Betty,
Donald of Seaforth, Joan and hus-
band Jack Cleave of Exeter and Al-
lan of Kitchener. Predeceased by one
daughter Margaret Scott (1985).
Also surviving one brother Ernest
Allen of Mitchell and five grandchil-
dren. Friends were received at the
Whitney-Ribcy Funeral Home, Sea -
forth and the funeral service was
held Tuesday, June 28 with the Rev.
William Barber officiating. Inter-
ment Harpurhey Cemetery. Pallbear-
ers were cousins, Lloyd Allen, Eldon
Allen, Carter Kerslake, Murray
Christie, Colin MacDougald, Alfred
Ross Sr. Flowerbearers were her five
grandchildren Kevin and Sherri Cole-
man, Chris and Carrie Cleave and'

chael P. O'Connor Funeral Homes,
until Wednesday, then to St. Boni-
face Roman Catholic Church for cel-
ebration of the Funeral Mass at 10
a.m. Interment to follow in St. Bon-
iface Roman Catholic Cemetery. As

to the Huron County Town & Coun-
try Homemakers or the charity of
