News from the Villa
EXETER - Hello from the resi-
dents of the Villa. June is a very
special month for seniors all over
Ontario.Opportunity is Ageless is
the theme for this year's celebra-
tion.
Residents were pleased to be able
to taste some fresh rhubarb sauce.
Thanks for the donations of rhu-
barb. It was a real treat to be able
to prepare part of our supper.
Friday has become barbecue day
at the Villa. We enjoyed the meal
prepared by the kitchen girls.
There's nothing like the taste of
barbecued hamburgs and hot dogs.
Thanks, girls for all the extra work
on barbecue days.
The Lioness treated us to a de-
lightful program last Tuesday
evening. Five members of the
Stratford Boy Choir entertained in
the Lodge. The boys have wonder-
ful voices and we hope to be able
to hear them again.
Rev. Larry Stojkovic from Zion
Lutheran Church in Dashwood
conducted our weekly workship
services. Mrs. Stojkovic was un-
able to join us at the piano, as she
is staying at home with their new-
born son.
Get well wishes to Lloyd Morgan
and Percy McFalls in South Huron
Hospital.
Residents and staff extend their
sympathy to the family and friends
of the late Otto Walker.
Thought for the week: If you can
keep your head in all this confu-
sion, you simply don't know the
situation.
