Egg Hunt
at Museum
this Saturday
The Great Easter Egg Hunt will
take place at the Lzuubton heritage
Museum, on Easter Saturday,
April 2, -from 11 a.m. sharp to.1
p.m. Tho Great Easter Egg Hunt is .
an annual Project of the Ausable-
-Pdrt Franks Optimist Club, -and
has become a local tradition for
children in the North Lambton-
hliddlescx area.
In addition to the childrens' hunt
and colouring of real eggs, the
1988 activities will include a bon-
net -making contest judged by.Opti-
mist and Lambton • County Offi-
cials, games and prizes.
The'Great Easter Egg Ilunt usu-
ally draws about 500 area children
R) the museum. AdMissiotn is fret
to those under 12 years of age. 1 lot
dog lunches and refreshments are
available at noon. Colne out and

:The Lambton Heritage Museum
is located on highway 21, five
miles south of Grand Bend, oppo-
site the Pinery Provincial Park.
GRADUATE - Michelle Jones,
R.N., daughter of Mervin Jones and
granddaughter of Edna Weber, Ex-
eter, graduated from Conestoga
College Kitchener and is currently
employed at Sick Children's Hospi-
tal, Toronto.
Pentecostal .ladies meet
Exeter Pentecostal Women's Min-
istries was held Thursday March 24
with 11 =fibers in attendance.
Ruth McLaren was in charge.
Monies were voted to be sent to
Mark Buntain in India, Orphanages
in Brazil and Argentina, the Blind
School in Thailand as well as our
designated missionary Michel Char-
bonneau.

Mrs. Rogers gave the. message for
the afternoon on prayer, praise and
worshipping at the feet, of Jesus.
We must ask forgiveness 'and
cleansing from our sins and then we
can reach God who helps us.

Prayer followed, remembering our
missionaries, the sick and young
people.
Lunch was served and a time of
fellowship followed.

dance.

Everything from sportswear, day-
time and evening wear to mother
of the bride were modelled by Nan-
cv Pcarcc. Carolers Blackburn,
Blanche Stewart, Marie Brunzlow,
Linda Hawley and Norma Hooper.
Nancy Rooth was commentator.
Several draws • for prizes were
mode. Lunch was served and a so- .
cial hour followed.
AIDS. info meeting at school
More than 100 parents from Pre-
cious Blood School, Exeter, Mount
Carmel School and Si. Boniface
School, Z irich, attended a parent
Information Meeting on Monday,
March 21 at 7:30 in the school
gym of Precious Blood School.
The purpose of the.meeting was to
introduce the AIDS Education Pro-
gram which will be taught in
Grades 8 and .10 in the Huron -Perth
Catholic Schols.
Principal Margaret Mcdve wel-
comed parents and opened the meet-
ing with a short prayer. She then
introduced the chairman for the
evening, John McCauley, a super-
intendent with the School Board.
Mr. McCauley explained the pro:-
cess
ro=cess and committee which had de-
veloped the program. He then intro-
duced the various members of the
panel.
Dr. Linda Steele, a family physi-
cian in Exeter and member of the
AIDS 'Education Committee, spoke

Father Gary Goyeau, pastor of
Mount Cannel and Precious Blood
Parishes, discussed the moral impli-
cations of this disease.
Dennis )\lackey, Religious and
Family Life Consultant with the
school board, examined the objec-
tives and methodology of the pro --
gram to be taught. Parents discussed
the issues over coffee and directed
questions to the panel at the conclu-
sion of the presentation.
1' 1cCauley closed the meeting
with a few summary comments. He
noted that education is our only
weapon against this terrible disease,
and that we have a responsibility to
our young people to provide them
with this defense.

The Crediton five 4-11 club held
its fourth meeting on March 24, ai
the home of Kim Hoffman.
Thc meeting, entitled "Go With
Thc (Cash) Flow," covered such
topics as that of setting up a finan-
cial plan •for the.future; flexible,
fixed and periodic expenses and
1 where each would apply; preparing a
cash flow statement or budget, and
making it work; how to deal with
' financial emergencies; how to plan
for large expenditures; and how to
make sound financial decisions by
studying the pros and cons of the
situation.
Having completed the bulk of the
meeting, we were then assigned our
home activities to be prepared for
I the next meeting. These include
1 considering an important financial
decision, and, following the exam-
ple used in the meeting, developing
questions to reflect the economic
considerations involved; preparing a
personal cash flow statement for the
next three months; tallying our in-
come and expense sheet, determin-
ing the fixed, flexible and periodic
expenses; and gathering together
any foreign currency we have in our
possession to bring to Meeting V.
The meeting was then concluded,
and all enjoyed a delicious snack of
chocolate cake and a fruit drink.
Thc next meeting will be held on
Friday, April 1 at the Kaak resi-
