April meeting of Caven Presbyteri-
an Church Women April 11 at the
Helen Jermyn Apartments.
Many of the ladies from the resi-

and the social period at the closing.
Mrs. Carman Cann, Mrs. Helen
Bridges and Mrs. Hallie Merkley led
the devotional period "Three Gifts
of Easter.".
Mrs. Charles Henderson drew our
attention to the March issue of Glad
Tidings especially to 'Reflections
on the Russian Orthodox'. The
quote from this article "the Ortho-
dox is a rich church - not only arc

enormous number of people who
would readily fill still more church-

Mrs. Ella Frayne accompanied by
Mrs. Clarence Diebel played many
familiar selections on her harmoni-

Guest speaker Mrs. Gwyn Whil-
smith brought a very encouraging
message, showing a poster of news-
paper clippings all very depressing

these affect you?
She stated that many people can-
not listen to the late news. Fortu-

styles. The shows will be going to
be visual and audio delights. Mod-
els for both performances arc being
choreographed by Jayne Snell of
Blyth. Included in the ticket price
will be a small reception and dem-
onstrations on beauty, health and
fitness. There will also be a variety
of fashion -related door prizes.
This special, first-time event is a
fundraiser for the Blyth Festival
Capital Building Project, a project
aimed at improving technical and

of God in our hearts - do not let it
go. We will not be discouraged by
