Next was Bruce Watson with 270 and close -behind was Ellen Coutts with 269. Round- ing out the top six were Dave Woodward with 239, and Eileen Dowson with 230. Don't forget Shuffling every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hensall Arena. TALENT SHOW - To kick off the March break, Hensall Public School students were treated to a Friday after- noon talent show which included an air band and comedy act. Hay council briefs Hay Township has officially reg- istered its opposition to Sunday shopping with the Coalition against open Sunday shopping. Council also feels the decision on Sunday shopping should- rest with the Province and not the local mu- -nicipality. The Zurich and Arca Fire Board budget was accepted by Hay coun- cil. The budget will cost the township $14,830.15 of the S28,284 total because Hay has more than- 52 percent of the fire area's coverage. * * * * * A stop -work order on the Blue- watcr Properties subdivision has been lifted. Council met with Vic- tor and George Brisson's lawyer and determined that the conditions of a development agreement be- tween thc developers and the town- shiphad been met.. Hydro and wa- ter' services have been installed, but the access road cannot be brought back to its original condition until the ground thaws. The Bayvicw Property Owners Association has withdrawn its ob- jection to the comprehensive zon- ing bylaw which designates their subdivision as seasonal residential. They are seeking a rezoning of the arca as urban to permit year-round . residency. ***** The Bean Sprouts Nursery School has -been given the go- alie -ad for installing their own cup- boards in the Hay Township Hall so that thc hall can be more easily tidied up for other functions.
