That goal carried them into the sec-
ond when four Mohawk goals put
some distance between the two
teams.
Randerson started the roll with a
goal from \Vilkcr and Barton just
1:40 into the second.
- Gibbon added a pair while Barton
scored a power play single. Gibbon
had four points over the course of
the game with two goals and two
assists.
The only Exeter mark of the third
carte from Kernick Alio scored a
power play goal in the first minute
of play from Glover and Gibbon.
Durham put some pressure on in
the final minutes of the third, col-
lecting a two goal dividend from
Don Marshall and Brent Hopkins.
u:her Huskie goals were scored
by Kevin Hopkins and Andy Muell-
er. Both were power play goals.

Legionnaires rip Ridgetown in
last OMHA playdown game
Despite the fact that Exeter Le-
gionnaires chances of advancing in
OMIIA playoff action were cut
short last week, the local Bantams
came up with an excellent 8-3 effort
over Ridgctown Sunday.
Trailing 2-1 after the first period,
d,
Legionnaires. exploded with four
goals in the second and three in the
third to blow their opponents off
the ice.
Ridgctown took a 1-0 lead early
in the first but Dave Dalrymple
popped in an unassisted goal at
2:25 to tie the game. Dalryniplc led
the team Sunday with three goals.
Before the perl(xl was over, howev-
er, Ridgctown had retaken the lead.
Mark Burton put the gears in mo-
tion in the second when he scored
from Steve Dubarry at 2:59. Dubar-
ry had a five point night with two
goals and three assists.

McCann, proceeded to set up Dal-
rymple for his second goal just over
one minute later, tying the game.
McCann also played well for Le-
gionnaires, notching four points.
Harlon 'Finney added an unassisted
starker at 4:44 to give Exeter the
lead for the first time.
Duharry gave Legionnaires some
insurance before the period -ended
with a goal from '\1cCann and Tim
\'an Dant.
In the third, Exeter continued the
barrage. Duharry picked up a pass
from Burton and Joel Campbell to
score. at 8:46 of the final frame.
McCann added one o'- 'is own
from Duharry at 1 I.:23 ,end then
Dalrymple completed his hat trick
when McCann and Tinney fed him
the puck. at 12:20. •
Ridgctown managed one goal as a
reply late in the third.
