The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority requires a respon-
sible individual for the position of Community Relations Techni-
cian. The successful candidate will assist with the implementa-
tion of the A.B.C.A.'s Community Relations Program. Specific
responsibilities would include:
- co-ordination of the Camp Sylvan and Parkhill Conservation
Programs (residential education programs);
- development of publications, displays, dernon,strations, special
wants, A-V presentations and other communications tools.
Qualifications
- A degree or diploma from an accredited University or College in
a field related to environmental studies/resources management.
(A teaching degree would be an asset).
- Experience with, and an understanding of, the practice of re-
source management and communications.
- Excellent and varied communication skills.
This position is a contract position and is renewed annuc.lty
pending a review. The first contract period, howeve`, will be for
the duration of 1988 only.
Salary Range:
$14,250-18,000 (9 month contract starting April 1)
$19,000-24,000 per annum
