Anger is topic at
Granton Anglican
By MRS. E. SUMMERS
At St. Thomas Anglican church
the Rev. Beverley Anne Wheeler
was celebrant for the Holy Com-
munion service, assisted by John
Herbert as Server. Marlene French
supplied the music. The two les-
sons were read by Muriel Lewis.
Rev: Wheeler based her sermon
on today's gospel taken from John
11. Rev. Wheeler used this passage
to show that anger is not an emo-
tion to withold but one that must
be analyzed. Jesus has shown in the
gospel that anger is not a sin when
the reason is just.
Flowers in the church were from
the funeral of the late Mrs. Flor-
ence Nixon who passed away on
Wednesday.
A very enjoyable time of fellow-
ship and coffee hour was spent after
the service with Linda Hodgins and
Kathy Westman in charge, includ-
ing a birthday cake and the singing
of "Happy Birthday" in honor of
John Herbert's 22nd birthday.

brate John's birthday.
