Sessionmeeting set tonight
By.MRS. W1LUAM ROHDE
Rev. Teddy Smits was in charge
of the regular church service on
Sunday morning. We read Psalm 95
responsively.
Rev. Smits told the children's sto-
ry: In a small Scottish town, many
years ago, the busy harvest time had
come and sincevery person was
needed, it was decided that a young
fellow Dan, should be in charge of
all the sheep, owned by several peo-
ple. They were grazing in the hills.
But Dan got bored, and, to add ex-
citement to it all, he ran as close as.
he could to all the harvest' workers
and shouted, wolf, wolf. The men
left their work and came running
with, their harvest tools. Once they
came close to the young fellow he
smiled and said I never saw a wolf.
But a few days later, a .real wolf
came. Once .. again Dan shouted
wolf,.wolf. But nobody bothered to ..
come, and Dan was killed by the
wolf. One of the ten command-
ments says
ommand-ments.says You shall not tell a lie'.
