Special library shows
Have a magical March Break at
your local Branch Library. Enjoy
the marvelous magic of Marvclle,
the International Comedy Magician
on Thursday March 17.
Marvelle will perform at the Ex-
eter Branch Library at 2 p.m. and at
the Zurich Branch Library at 3:30
p.m.
Marvelle is a member of the
world's most exclusive Magical So-
ciety the Magic Circle, and the In-
ternational Brotherhood of Magi-
cians. He has written two books
about magic and has taught magic
at Fanshawe College.
Children of all ages will be
amazed at Marvelle's 30 minute
performance. The program is free
and everyone is welcome. Space,
however, is limited so get your free
ticket at your library as soon as
possible to avoid disappointment.
This program is sponsored by
your local branch library and the
Huron County Library.
"Mother Goose Talcs", a free
puppet show for children, will be
presented at the Kirkton Branch Li-
brary on Saturday March 12 at 10
a.m. Marian Doucette, a talented
puppeteer from Clinton, will .be
performing as part of the Huron
County Library's March Break ac-

In "Mother Goose Talcs" Marian
will entertain and amuse children,
aged three years and up, with 45

dren into a world of make-believe in
this one -woman puppet show.
As well as being a talented per-
former, Marian designs and creates
original puppets. Almost all the
puppets in "Mother Goose Talcs"
arc her own creations.
Everyone is welcome and there is
no admission charge. Sponsored by
the Huron County Library and the
Kirkton Branch Library.
Heart disease, stroke
kill many Canadians
Heart disease and stroke claim the
lives of more Canadians than all
other diseases combined. That's why
the Heart and Stroke Foundation of
Ontario is such a critical cause - one
that none of us can afford to ignore.
Whether the heart is attacked or
the brain (stroke), the causes are
most often the same. When the ves-
sels carrying blood to your heart or
brain become too restricted you can
suffer a heart attack or a stroke. Or
when a blood clot lodges in an ar-
tery and interferes with the blood
College Royal

erinary surgery, frequent magic and
fashion shows, square dancing,
flights over the campus, medieval
jousting, a cat show, a petting zoo
and Old MacDonald's Farm.
Open House hours are 9 a.m. to
5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5
p.m. Sunday. Parking and admis-

supply to either heart or brain, you
can suffer a heart attack or stroke.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation
of Ontario provides funding to more
than 237 research teams province -
wide. So far, no other form of medi-
cal research has saved as many lives
as heart and stroke research.
Campaign chairman for the Huron
County Heart and Stroke Founda-
tion canvass Chuck Rowland, urges
you to give generously when a vol-
unteer calls. He also hopes that the
envelope which was left by the can-
vasser if you were not home will
not be wasted. Please use it to mail
your donation.
If you were not canvassed, the ad-
dress of the Heart and Stroke Foun-
dation in Huron County is RR 4
Goderich.
