WI workshop
held at CCAT
Achieving more interesting meet-
ings was the aim of a workshop
held at Centralia College of Agri-
cultural Technology last Thursday.
Held-forWomen,s-Institute District
Program Co-ordinators of the Lon-
don Area, it was conducted jointly
by Mrs. Hilde Morden, RR 2, Rod-
ney, Federated Women's Institute of
Ontario Program Coordinator and
Mrs. Grace Campbell of RR 1, Iona
Station, London Area Women's In-
stitutes Program Coordinator.
The workshop was held as a result
of changes made in the F.W.I.O.
constitution that recommends each
Branch have a Program Coordinator
and committee rather than several
Committee Conveners.
The theme "Waste Management"
was stressed and Program Coordina-
tors from the ten Districts in Lon-
don Area received guidance, inspira-
tion and insight into program
planning and reporting. Information
and material was provided for all
those attending to enable them to
conduct a similar, workshop for their
Branch Program Coordinators.
Content of the workshop is avail-
able from the F.W.I.O. office at the
Guelph Agriculture Centre, Box
1030, Guelph, .Ontario N 1 H 6N1.
