The true meaning of Christmas by Cassandra Martin St. Patrick's, Lucan The true meaning of Christmas was when the Christ Child was born. It was also when the Angel told Mary that she was to give birth to the Son of God. She was so glad that she told her cousin Elizabeth. Mary also told Elizabeth she would also give birth to a baby boy. A little bit Tater on, Mary met Joseph. He was going to be the father of Je- sus. When they thought the baby - was going to come soon, they de- cided that, they should start looking for a place to give birth to him. They cduldn't find a place. So they had to go into Stable. Then He was born. That true meaning of Christmas. 1 Ri1s/ResAtilt**hies itisAii•NOoffaid.AdgeiiooW.tsk.•tite 9itoaasc.it itiOt ►iAC►aiete.0a014400iill tirai4.ltrpaiiilfti a s•OklaaiiettugsA 1 1l a al Glen/i.•nr(,n : `//Coir a n•ouf/ ft., /O yr14•111 (Mr uilrntr$I r1/1- p paz /rre414,1' la 4/044 unr (all •r.'. 711 rrmy/ l lir bail I net. r I1I.. .... There was just a week left before Christmas holidays, the elves were working hard. Mrs. Claus was bak- ing Christmas cookies for Santa and the elves when she heard Santa call for someone, "Come here hurry" so Mrs. Claus jumped up and ran up- stairs to see what was wrong with Santa. She went into their room and she said "elves elves hurry Santa has the flu. Bring a pail for him". Oh why did Santa have to get the flu just before Christmas. Oh don't worry about Santa. He'll be,,just fine. You elves go back to work. Okay, if Santa has the flu let's get all the toys made. Okay, let's get to work. Mrs. Claus told Santa that he just needed some sleep. Around sup- per time Santa woke up and found a big box beside him. The elves said "open it Santa". So Santa opened it and found a wooden reindeer. "Thank you elves. You got all- the toys made for me". "Santa here is your soup". "Thank you very much". The days went past fast and there was just one day till Santa had to go. But Santa was getting better a little each day. Soon it was time to go and Mrs. Claus was getting ready to go and Santa came down the stairs with his red suit on. I'm - ready to go. "Yah" said the elves. I'm so glad you're alright Santa. "Thank you dear. You helped me. You gave me medicine and nice hot soup. Thank you. Good Bye". Yes He Lan Christmas By Rayna Milne Grade 3, Z.P.S. One night, in Santa's Work Shop, the Elves saw that outside one of the reindeer was gone. One Elf counted, "One, two, three, four, five, six, _ seven, eight". Then he said out their names, "Prancer, Donner, Blitzen, Dasher, Dancer, Comet, Rudolph and Cupid. Where was Vixen? No- body knew. "Vixen", one of the Elves called. Thcn another Elf said, "Here he is". He's 'sleeping in the Work Shop". Everybody rushed to the Work Shop, and there was Vix- en. Everybody was glad. So all the presents were delivered on time. The end. • • • • BI JP INT TO ALL 44- • • • • TRV ARMSTRONG • • • FUNERAL HOME P - O'.
