Thames Road manse gets paint

very nice now as painting is finished.
The painting was done by Stan Wilson
who is staying with Rev. K. Teddy
Smits.

Seventeen people from Thames
Road attended Elimville Church an-
niversary on Sunday. Special music
was provided by the Male Gospel
Singers. which was much enjoyed.
Rev. Deborah Carter of Centralia -
Zion West pastoral charge gave a
very inspiring message and also told
an interesting story to the children.
Hosting Hallowe'en party
The Messengers are hosting a
Halloween party on October 30 at 7
p.m. at Thames Road Church.
Everyone of any age is welcome.
Parents and friends are asked to
bring sandwiches or cookies for lunch
afterwards.
November U.C.W.
The November meeting of -the
United Church Women will be held on
Monday. November 2 at 8 p.m. The
U.C.y. tablecloth that is being em-
broidered with our names on it is on
its rounds.
Baptismal service -
The sacrament of baptism has been
requested for Sunday. November 1 at
11:15 a.m. at Thames` Road.
