South Huron won the game 3-0. All three goals were scored by Tina Campbell. Campbell was also the only goal scorer in South Huron's 3-0 win over Stratford Cen- tral this week. Laurie Forrester ted the seniors to - a big 38-16 win over Mitchell with an impressive 16 points. Cassie Van Dongen scored 1) points. Kelly Whiteford scored seven and Beth Sweeney and Sonya Shantz Lucan Atoms tie Ilderton, beat Exeter Lucan Atoms came up against Il- derton and Exeter on the weekend and came away with a win and a tie after playing to a 5-5 draw against Il- derton, then handing Exeter a 4-2 loss. In a game decided in the final seconds of the third, Lucan recovered from a 5-2 second period deficit to push Ilderton into a tie. With 7:45 left in the first period, 11- derton's Mark Phillips scored unassisted to give his team the lead. It was matched just over one minute later when Lucan's Jamie Lightfoot scored on a play set up by Chris Haskett and Dylan England. Mike Robb brought the lead back to Ilderton beforetheend of the period, however, when he connected with Paul Lessard with 4:46 remaining in the first. Robb and Lessard combined again in the second to give Ilderton a secure lead but Matt Munro scored unassisted for Lucan at 7:26 to keep things close. Rob Daniel scored for- Ilderton to make it 4-2. Assists were drawn on the play by Robb and Lessard. With the help of Brett Humphrey, Robb scored his third goal of the game with just over three minutes re- maining in the second. • With the odds leaning heavily in I1- derton's favour going into the third. Lucan rallied for three goals within the last four minutes of play. Shawn Fairweather sparked the team when he picked up a pass from Munro and scored at 3:41. Jason Hodgson followed that with a goal of his own to bring Lucan within one goal of a tie with 1:44 showing on the clock. Hodgson was assisted by Chris Haskett. Then, with just four seconds left, Ilaskett fed the puck to Fairweather who found the mark to tie the game. Lucan 4 - Exeter 2 Saturday, Lucan came up against Exeter Atoms and after taking a com- fortable 3-0 lead in the second, coasted to a 4-2 win over their opponents. Lightfoot started the scoring when Ilaskett set him up in front of the net after three minutes of play in the first period. Steve Dame followed Lightfoot's example, scoring to make it 2-0 before the end of the period. In the second. Lucan increased their lead again when Haskett scored at 6:50. Lightfoot assisted on the play. Fairweather cut the drive short, however when he scored Lucan's fourth goal at 8:56. Munro drew the assist. Campbell was responsible for both SHDHS wir.s. She scored all three goals in South Huron's 3-0 win over Mitchell Thurs- day afternoon and then did the same thing in a game against Stratford Central.
