supports this thought. The school
benefits from your positive attitude.
The principal continued "1 am sure
we Will hear from you as leaders and
models of success. You will probably
experience retraining and change
jobs four or fixe times in your work
life and -move to unheard of plaees.'•
In conclusion Shaw told the
graduates, "Take what life has to of-
fer, but gjve to your- maximum and
cling to gd friends and memories."
Lee O'Rourke, now a student at the
University of Western Ontario was
the valedictorian.
The popular athlete during her five
years at SHDHS told fellow graduates
to "make decisions alone, be indepen-
