tie, winning 7-4 in Mooretown and then fighting to a 5-5 tie in Exeter.

down Zurich
Exeter Molting Hawks played at
home against Zurich Has Beans in
Old Timers Hockey Monday night.
Exeter won 5-4.
Exeter scorers were Keith Ahrens,
Ken Bergman, Pete McFalls, Bob
Jones and Scott Burton. Al Flynn had
two assists.
Zurich scorers were Bob Merner
(2), Bob Johnson and Ron Rader.

Mohawks handle Mooretown in two

Exeter re -instated their three goal
lead with 4:34 left in the period when
Randy Bailey picked up a pass from
Scott Eccles to score during a power
play.
The two teams matched goals in the
third period. Mooretown's Mark
Hillier made the score 5-3 when he
beat Exeter goalie Rick Pikul after
2:13 of play. Mohawks answered that
goal with one of their own just 31
seconds later when Kris. Bedard
scored from Brian Mercer, making it
6-3.
Barton gave Exeter their seventh
goal of the evening with 15:38 remain-
ing in the game.
Mooretown managed a final goal
with seven minutes on the clock.
A disallowed goal with just three
minutes left in the third period snat-
ched away Mohawks' chances of a se-
cond win and forced them to settle for
a 5-5 tie Sunday night in Exeter.
After John Rowland put Mohawks
on the board early in the first period,
Mooretown took a 2-1 lead on goals by
Tim Maracle and Naiff Houssain.
Randy Bailey tied the game when
he connected with Dale Gibbon and
Bedard at 6:14 to score. Wilker and.
Randerson combined to score at 8:57,
putting Mohawks in the lead for the
first time that night.
The goal was countered by Cornets
late in the second and the two teams

cond goal of the night at 14:10 to tie
the game.
