travelled to the I billet 11'ildlile centre
to witness and tidy the m irshes that
we have IK•en studying over the pall
three weeks.
I ►ur toll' guide. 1(01), showed us the
dillerenl kinds of wings from dil-
terent birds that fly to the marshes in
the center. There we saw the phea-
sant eggs in the incul►al(r and baby
ducks .lanae Ila\an. Adapt Locke
and ('ant Radar had the experience
of feeding 1Ii( baby pheasants. Then
we saw the goslings in a small pond.
Later we went and observed the
marshes %%hich had different kinds of.
birds and ducks. 11'e examined all the
(htterenl kinds (iI aquatic life. for ex-
ample: tadpoles. snails, fish. leaves
and grass.%V'e also saw bearer dams

The University of Guelph's annual
open house al the Ejlpra Agricultural
Research Station is .July 12 and 1:3.'
The program is planned to appeal to
urbanites and country dwellers alike.
Wagon tours, visits to various
research projects and explanations of
research relating to field crops.

ing will be featured. There will also
be. displays on computers, crop
disease; and a rainfall simulator us-
ed in erosion research.
-We hope the Sunday program will
bring many city dwellers out to see
how current research programs are
seeking to provide more and better
food products." says Stan Young, co-
ordinator of extensioh for the univer-
sity's (hutar'io Agricultural College.

4 p.m. On Monday. they run from 10
a.m. to3 p.m. and will focus on the in-
terests of farm producers and sup-
