Welcome to Queensway news for
this week. Hope everything is going
well in your world, because things
have been going well with us at
Queensway! Here is a run down of ac-
tivities that took place last week.
It was the last Monday afternoon
bingo with the Hensall United Church
ladies. The ladies volunteered all dur-
ing the month of March, and we'd like
to take this time to thank all of them
for coming in and helping tis play our
favourite game.
Tuesday afternoon our weekly
church service was conducted by Mr.
Cowan of Hensall United Church. Mr.
Cowan was accompanied on the piano
by Joyce Pepper, and together they
tileated us to a lovely duet. It was a
very -enjoyable afternoon.
On Wednesday morning we woke
up to exercises to get us moving for
the day. In the afternoon it was time
for our monthly Drawing Club. This
months' theme was Easter scenes. All
our creations turned out beautifully!
Thursday afternoon started with
one of our very favourite programs -
choir practice. With the help of Joyce
Pepper, and of course our lovely
voices, it all added up to a very enter-
taining afternoon. After choir prac-
tice we all enjoyed the "movie of the
week" which was called "Best
Horse".
On Friday afternoon, with the help
of Caravan Clothing, Queensway put
on a fashion show. Our models this
time were Clayton Mathers,Rollie
Grenier, Irene Heaman, Muriel Gun-
ningand Mildred Gingerich. All look-
ed super, and not to mention dapper!
We'd like to thank all our models for
doing a great job, as well.as being
good sports!
We'd also like to send out a hearty
thank -you to Lillian Baker of the
ladies' auxiliary who volunteered her
afternoon to make our show a
sticceSS.
