three-day period'-- Monday, Tuesday
and Wednesday, April 13, 14 and 15.
Performances will start at 10 a.m.
for primary (Kindergarten to grade
3) and junior (grades 4 t 6) children.

ticipants, ending about 2:45 p.m.
Each child will receive an evalua-
-tion and will be given a -gold, silver.
or bronze award of merit certificate
in keeping with his or her
performance.
Gymnastics is a part of the school
physical and health education cur-
riculum. It emphasizes development
of muscular strength, flexibility and
coordination. Performance of gym-
nasitc routines enhances growth of
self-confidence and self-esteem.

Two days- of shuffleboard
ladies Beatrice Richardson recorded

Lightfoot 381 and Iva Blair 233.
Two days of shuffleboard were en-
joyed this week at the South Huron
Rec Centre.
Lloyd Lovell recorded the high six
game score of 411 for the men follow-
ed Meine Eizenga 314 and Charles
Hendy 276. Best in five games were
John Pepper 352, Ross Richardson 322
and Howard Johns 231. .
Leading the ladies in Tuesday's
competition were Verda Lightfoot 459,
Pearl McKnight 353 and Olive Essery

fared very well at a recent pre-

Scarborough.
