We elected Sylvia Beat - son president; Elenora Kop vice presi- dent and Colleen Hollings as secretary. There were nine members present. Our new president, Sylvia, opened the meeting with the 4-H pledge. Everyone answered the roll call "Why did we join this 4-H club?" We answered some questions like "What would you do if someone broke into your house?" or "If you smelled smoke?" We also learned what to do if there was a blown fuse or stripped circuit.breaker or if thepipe under the sink leaked or if the toilet keeps running. We also learned how to handle phone calls or what to do if a stranger was at the door. We would like to thank Deanna and Sylvia Beatson for holding the meeting at their home, and Deanna Beatson and Pat Harlton for being leaders. Church news At Granton.United Church, the Rev.
