These things we miss so much.

And with these we will never part

I'll lend you for a little while
A child of mine He said
For you to love the while he lives.
And mourn when he Is dead.
It may be six or seven years
Or twenty-two or thirty
But will you until I call him back
Take care of him for me.
He'll bring his charm, to gladden you.
And should this day be brief
You'll have his lovely memories
As soul as for your grief.
I cannot promise he will stay
Since all from earth return
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.
I've looked .this wild world over
In My search of teachers true
And from the throngs that crowd life's lane
have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love,
Nor think the labour vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call .
1'o take him back again.
I fancy that I heard him say
Dear Lord Thy will be done
For all the joy the child shall bring
The rest of great grief will run.
We will shelter him with tenderness,
We will love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known,
Forever grateful stay.
But should the angels call for him
Much sooner than we have planned
We will brace the bitter grief
That comes and try to understand.
Missed but never forgotten but always
loved by Mom, Dad and Nicholas. 2c
SHARROW — In loving memory of a dear
father and grandfather, Aquila Sharrow
who God called home 15 years ago,
January 15, 1972.
Sheltered in the rock of ages
Anchored on the golden shore:
In the loving arms of Jesus.
Ile is safe forever more.
Absent from the body
And home.O Lord with Thee.
Sleep. -O rest how precious
As guarded by Thy care.
- We are waiting for Thy promise
To meet Thee in the air.
