The Exeter bantams came close to
winning two Shamrock hockey league
games this week, but it didn't quite
happen.
Wednesday at the South Huron Rec
Centre the local bantams held a 4-3
lead until St. Marys tied the score
with only 17 seconds left to play.
Friday in Lucan the situation was
similar as the home Irish club scored
a goal with two minutes to go to gain
another 4-4 draw.
Doug Clark with a two goal effort
was best for Exeter in the scoring
department in the tie with St. Marys.
Scoring in single fashion were Bruce
Papple and Frank Wulterkens.
Mark Burton picked up a pair of
assists while helping set up goals in
single style were Clark, Papple and

Dear Santa:
Since I drive thirty miles a day or more
and weekend jaunts, I would really
appreciate a gift of designer
sunglasses, maybe a pair with preci-
sion ground photochromatic lenses,
darken and lighten or gradiant C39,
hardlite, or I could even -wear a Bolle
sunglass but they are a little better for
skiers or snowmobilers.
I want to be good to my
eyes as they are the on-
ly pair I have.
Thank you 'Santa
