Teachers fell
new methods
The Clinton and District Christian
School held their P.T.A. banquet and
annual meeting November 14. The
president opened the evening by
reading Psalm 67, followed by prayer.
The "Willing Workers" served us a
delicious roast beef dinner. Karen
Bruinsma entertained us with a few
selections.
The speakers for the evening were
Mrs, Trix Bradley and Miss Joyce
Dekker. Trix spoke on how children
have different learning disabilities,
how to identify these disabilities, and
how to respond to each individual's
needs.
She used audience participation to
show us how difficult it can be to
remember a few letters in a certain
sequence or some simple instructions.
Joyce then enlightened us on the
different methods she uses to help the
children in the learning process.
It was a very informative evening
and it made us all aware of the need
for Special Education in our school.
The work of these teachers is great-
ly appreciated and we thank them for
helping our children grow in
knowledge and equipping them for
service in Christ's kingdom. Rev.
Sinasac closed the meeting with
prayer.
