Our section is called "Christmas at the North Pole." We have to Iearr lots of poetry lines for this. There are some polar bears making a Christmas cake with 53 bent mosquito knees. Some elves are very sleepy because they're so busy with toy making. The reindeer are slowly disappearing in, linger -play count- down. Some pine trees are feeling proud they have been chosen as Christmas trees. The Snow people aren't worried about melting because they'll be back next year. The toys are spreading lots of Christmas spirit. Santa is looking for good children. Please have a very Merry Chrittrnas from Room 9. Room 11 - Kindergarten Our Kindergarten class have been busy this fall. Besides learning about our school and our classroom, and working at our Activity Centres, we have.had several special days. In ear- ly October, we went on a nature hike through the Evergreen Bush at school. We gathered leaves, pine cones and other articles for a nature table. At the end of October, we made pumpkin cookies with the help of our teacher, Mrs. Thornton, and our parent volunteer, Mrs. Wagner. Were they ever yummy! Mrs. Judi Ross from Nairn, also came to visit us and to help us make puppets. We learned how to say "Kindergarten Puppeteers Present...Action!" and how to hold the puppets properly. We named our puppets: Vanessa, Spike, Leo, Sally and Ruby. They are now a special part of our classroom. Thanks again to Mrs. Wagner and Mrs. Ross for the help they 'have given us.
