Greetings everyone! Can you
believe it's December already!
Christmas is pounding at our door, as
well as our check books! ! Oh well,
here's the news for Queensway!
On Monday, November 24 we had
our last bingo game for 1986. The
Bethel Reformed Church came in
once again to present a very en-
joyable afternoon; bingo and hymn
singing. Thank you ladies for all your
help in the month of November.
Tuesday 'morning once again
brought us to our ceramic class with
Lil Baker and Judy Parker. Thanks
to everyones' participation, it was a
very enjoyable morning.
Reverend Clayton Keupfer came in
and presented us with a very en-
joyable church service on Tuesday.
Wednesday was a very busy day at
Queensway. In the morning the nur-
sing aides from Conestoga College
planned and presented their last ac-
tivity for us which was a Christmas
advent service. Thank you students
for all your help and participation
that you've given us, and we wish you
all the best in your future endeavors.
In the afternoon it was bowling time
once again with Muriel Gunning and
Neil Regan "racking" up the highest
score once again. Also, we'd like to
thank Dorothy Elder and Iva Reid for
all their help.
Wednesday evening brought the
Zurich Mennonite ladies to
Queensway to put on an enjoyable
evening of games and fun. Thanks
ladies for coming in!
We had a special evening Thursday
because we welcomed "Butch" Hoff-
man to Queensway to present a fire-
inservice for the residents. For an
hour and a half we spent listening,
discussing and learning fire safety.
Friday afternoon was our monthly
birthday party. Joyce Pepper came
in to entertain us as we increased our
waistlines with cake and ice-cream.
We would like to send out special
November birthday wishes to Mary
Westlake, Louis Pare and Esther Gill.
To end our week we went out in
style with a super Sunday afternoon.
Alfred Denomme and Frank Forest
came in to entertain us in a big way.
Thanks fellas for a super afternoon.
We would like to extend our sym-
pathy to the families of Mrs. Ethel
Robinson and Mrs. Gertie Deeves.
They will be greatly missed at
Queesway.
Well that's about it! Don't forget
about our Spruce Party on December
11, 1986. We'll see you there!!!
