on Huronview project
Htn'on County Council wW go ahead
with plans for expansion and renova-
tion to Huronview over the next five
years at a cost of 53.4 million.
The PrePosed renovations for the
home for -the aged near Clinton were
presented and passed at the council
meeting on epp 4 with the first
phase of the project starting in 1087
at a cost of 5530,785. lnclllded in the
first year are renovations to one
residential area of the home as well
as dining facilities in two other areas
and laundry fatllities.
In 1968, when the bulk of the work
will be done, renovations will be car-
ried out in the kitchen areas as well
as changes to the centre wing on the
second floor, administration offices
and another residential area at the
home. A 51,1 million price tag was set
for the second phase of the project.
Subsequent phases of the project,
set for 1989 through 1991, will feature
renovations to three more residential
areas and modernization of the
dietary facilities at the home.
The project report went on to say
private bathroom facilities in three of
the residential areas would not be in-
cluded in the renovations. However,
these renovations would be con-
sidered in the future.

The 13.3 million for the project will
be split between the province and the
county with the provincial Communi-
ty and Social Services and Huron
County contributing 11.68 million
each.
According to Clarence Rau, vice-
chairman of the Huronview Commit-
tee, grant money for the renovations
could be available as early as the end
of this year. " •
Referring to a meeting with Com-
munity and Social Services Minister
John Sweeney on July 30, Rau said the
minister held out hope that if present
projects funded by the ministry's
Capital Grant's program come in
under budget, Huron County would be
in line for the available money.
Last September, the previous coun-
cil had passed a motion to approve the
renovations to the county -run home,
subject to the approval of the incom-
ing council. However, in June, coun-
cil received notice that the county's
grant application for funding from the
ministry for Huronview had been
declined. The county, expecting the
project to go ahead in 1986, placed
5230,000 in the 1988 budget.
Rau said the minister claimed the
reason for the application denial was,
because it was near the end of the

PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF
BY-LAW NO. 100-86 OF
THE TOWNSHIP OF BIDDULPH
By-law No. 100-86 is a new comprehensive zoning by-law of the

Board.
By-law No. 100-86 is passed pursuant to Section 34 of the Plan-

location and use of buildings and structures throughout the
Township. As such, a key map showing the location of lands
to which the by-law applies is not provided.
Amendments may be made at any time to the Zoning By -low
