The track was in excellent condition for the On- tario Ili -Point race. The top senior and•expert riders from both the pro- vincial and national ranks competed for precious points that go towarfi he Provincial Championships. Everyone attending received a prize that members and local businesses had donated. A social hour of cards ended an enjoyable evening. Ladies best in shuffling The highest scores at this week's shuffleboard competition at the South Huron Rec Centre was recorded by the ladies. Mabel McKnight posted a score of 390 followed by Pearl McKnight at 350 and Lillian Pym 341. Meine Elizenga's score of 346 was best for the male shufflers. Next came Albert Hummel) 336 and Allen Johns 246. PLAYGROUND BEGINS It is time once again for the Exeter playground to begin. It will be open to all children between the ages of 4 and 14.
