Group tow- was in charge of the
May meeting of the Woodham
which was held Tuesday evening.
with the theme being "Mothers -the
meeting opened with the singing of a
hymn, followed by a reading -•WIII
You Leave A Legacy- by Mrs Ellis
Shahan Mrs. Ted Brine led in
prayer.
Airs. Dare Williams introduced the
guest speaker. Mrs Harold Burgin
who showed slides and gave a very in-
teresting commentary of their lami-
ly trip to Bolivia at Christmas 1984 to
visit their daughter Leanne who is a
Rotary Youth exchange student
there. Airs Ted Brine thanked Mrs.
Burgin and presented her with a gift.
Mrs. Bill Spence played her guitar
and sang a solo. Mrs. Ellis Strahan
read two poems • *Fa mily Tree,.
.and --11"isdum" and Mrs. Nelson
Baker read "Is Your Head on
Straight' followed by a hymn.
Mrs. Dave Williams read a poem
"To Mr Mother- followed by the
scripture read. by Mrs. Bill Spence.
Airs. Nelson Baker gave a short
reading about "A lot hers' followed by
prayer by Mrs. George Levy.
Mrs. John Rodd gave .a report on
the Live Love project. The roll call
was answered by 20 members and the
minutes read. A letter was received
from the Ronald McDonald House
thanking us for our donation and an
invitation to their open house in Lon-
don. A Silent Auction was held during
lunch.
Rannock Stunning Stylers attended
achievement night May 8 at the
Kirkton Woodham Community
Centre.
This 4-11 project Was actionwear,
using fabrics suitable for action. The
girls made an article of their choice
using the techniques taught by
leaders Dollie Milos and Beverley -
Haynes.
- The theme' used was Action Wear
for all Seasons. The girls modeled the
garments they made which included
jogging suits, T-shirts. vests. suits
and jumpsuits. Leader Dollie• Milos
made a black and red T-shirt knit
dress and modeled it along with the
club members.
Nicole Haynes the clubs mascot
wore a two piece mauve shirt and
short set as well as a peach colored
sunsuit. These outfits were made by
members Cheri Spence and Sara
Youngson as their second project.
Congratulations to Sara Youngson
. who received her 22 project award.
All girls will meet again in the fall for
the next project. 4-11 Basic Baking.

Synod al St. Paul's Cathedral. Lon-
don. last week as delegate to Synod

a report during the service at St
Pauls' Church. Sunday morning
