Mrs. Mary Thomson of Exeter. Mr. and Mrs. William Rohde visited on Friday with Mrs. JeanHanna and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ross of London. Miss Lori Lynn Stewart of Timmins visited with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stewart recently for a few days. Mrs. Ken Duncan, Mrs., Don Richardson, Erin and Lori attnded a bridal shower for Cathy Baxter, bride of this Saturday at her mother's home. Mrs. Baxter of RR Mitchell. Some 20 people attended a bridal shower for Miss Elaine Stewart, bride elect of July at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Stewart on Sunday after- noon. Mrs. Walter Kunicki and Mrs. Dave Van Allen assisted their mother. The shower was for the Kosi, Stewart, Passmore and Morgan relatives. Airs. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bray, Vanessa and Kristy attended the baptism ser- vice at Elimville United Church on Sunday morning when their niece Courtney Jelaine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Smith was baptized. Mrs. Isobelle Cann and Mrs. Kay Cann of Exeter, Mr. and Mrs. Brad Cann names were omitted from last week's news at the gathering for Mr. and Mrs. Reg Hodgert. Sorry! IRVIN RADER Dashwood Aden's Club held their an- nual Ladies Night on Friday, April 26 at the community centre. Thirty- three members and 33 guests sat down to a delicious turkey dinner. President Don Weigand conducted a short meeting. A donation of $100 was presented to Dashwood and Area Business Association for the book they are having published. A donation was given to Bunny Bundle. Chuck Ford introduced guest speaker, Garry Kline who spoke on different kinds of wine.
