After honeymooning .in Jamaica

Plan ride for cancer next month
Lioness donate
The Exeter Lioness held their April
meeting at the Masonic Hall on Mon-
day evening. After a delicious roast
beef dinner served by the members
of the Eastern Star the members
Rebekahs view
down under trip
The Rebekah- Lodge No.338 mel in
the lodge halls with a good number in
attendance. Noble Grand, Sister
Marie Broom advised the members
that there will be a dessert euchre in
Clinton, May 1 at 1:30 p.m., the
travelling gavel is going to Clinton on
May 14; there is a dessert euchre in
Hensall on May 8 at 1:30 p.m.
The district church service is being
held al the United Church in Centralia
on April 28 at 11:00 a.m. and anyone
interested in parading is to meet at
10:45 a.m. A degree will be conferred
on June 5. It was reported that several
sisters were in hospital.
Following the meeting, slides were
shown by Don and Anne Bray and
Ross and_ Kay Hodgert on their trip to
New Zealand. Lunch was served by
the committee in charge.
Alpha Pi ('14apter of Beta Sigma Phi
met on March 19 at the home of Susan
Mauer. The program "Home Plinn-
ing: The House - Architecture to
Finance" was presented by the Lyn-
da Freiter and Sharon Lynn.
A short resume on things to con-
sider when building a house was given
as well as information pertaining to
, mortgages. Members then divided in-
to groups and drew up floor plans to
suit a specified family situation.
The election tor the 1985-86 ex-
ecutive took place ivilh results as
follows: ('resident - Lynda Freiter.
Vice -President - Janice Webber,
Secretary - Patti Sinnamon and
Treasurer - Susan Mayer.
Lunch was served by Susan and co -
hostess Sharon Davis.

Huron Street Residence in Exeter.
After a tour of the house the
counsellors in charge gave a very in-
formative talk on the Ilome, follow-
ed by' a question and answer period.
The children enjoy having visitors
and we were encouraged to drop in
again with our families. The visit was
arranged by Sandra Rowe and Liz
Taylor as a presentation of their pro-
gram "Happiness: khat it lakes to be
happy..

Carol works for the administration
staff in Addis Ababa Ethiopia of
Christian Blind Missions Interna-
tional. Everyone enjoyed Erk's slides
and the information he was able to
give us on Africa. The club presented

The advance list of the Ladies Divi-
sion of the Exeter Agricultural Socie-
ty is now being distributed to ex-
hibitors of the Exeter Fall Fair. Ex
tra copies may be obtained from Jac-
queline's Specialty Fashions and
Hopper -Hockey Furniture.
There will be a few changes and ad-
ditions before the prize list is printed
in June as a supplement to the Exeter
T A, so be sure and check the prize list
for exact classes and details before
entry in the fair Friday morning
September 20, before 12:00 noon.
