Institute at Dashwood
choose slate of officers

Doshwood
Dashwood Women's Institute held
their annual meeting Tuesday with 19
members answering the roll call by
paying their dues. President, Mrs.
Emil Becker opened the meeting by
the use of a flip chart. Each member
received an Easter greeting contain-
ing a crochet cross book mark and a
table of days in which Easter Sunday
will fall until the year 2000.
The District annual will be held at
Usborne school May 16 with Elimville
W.I. in charge. A donation was made
to Exeter Fair. The Exeter Fair list
by Elimville W.I. was read.
Mrs. Eben Weigand reported on the
executive meeting she and Mrs. Emil
Becker had attended. District
curators will meet in Hensall April 30.
The County Rally will be held October
7 at Thames Road. The Grand-
mothers' meeting will be May 7.
Mrs. Syd Baker was in charge of
the installation of new officers as
follows: Past president, Mrs. Gordon
Bender; president, Mrs. Emil
Becker; vice president, Mrs. Eben
Weigand; 2nd vice president, Mrs.

Lloyd Rader, who was a patient in
University hospital where he had
surgery, returned home,Sunday.
Stacey Rader was an overnight
guest with Karen McKay, Grand
Bend, Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Vandahl, Mon-
treal, joined in the celebration of
Frieda Hayter's birthday. While in
the vicinity they took to opportunity
to visit Dorothy's brothers and
sisters.
Robert, Monica, Jason and Melissa
Restemayer, Kippen, were Sunday
visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Leeland
Restemayer.
