Everyone is invited to the Zurich

paraplegic, speak of her experiences.

The ladies of the Mt. Carmel P.T.A.
will present a play, "Murder for the
Bride", at their school in Mt.Carmel
on Sunday, April'14 at 8:00 p.m. Ad-
mission of $2.00 includes lunch.
Lions dinner - dance
Tickets are now on sale for the
Lions club 40th anniversary dinner
and dance on Friday, April 19 at $25.00
per couple.
Sauerkraut supper
Tickets are now on sale for the an-
nual Sauerkraut Supper being held at
the Community Centre on Wednes-
day, April 24 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
sponsored by the Chamber of Com-
-merce. Cost, is $7 per person.
Golden Agers
The Zurich Golden Agers are in-
vited by the Dashwood Seniors to at-
tend their social meeting on Monday,
April 15 at 8:00 p.m.
Don't forget about the Golden Agers
dinner meeting on Friday, April 12 at
the Town and Country Bowling alley.
Milt Oesch is a patient in Exeter
hospital. We wish him a speedy
recovery.
History committee
The history committee of St.
Boniface P.T.A. are looking for pic-
tures and clippings of the past 25
years pertaining to our parish for the
Anniversary and Open House on June
29 from 1 to 5 p.m. An outdoor Mass
will be said at 2 p.m. Everyone is
welcome.
Zurich WI
The April WI meeting was held in
the tawnship hall basement. Sing time
was enjoyed, including several
Easter hymns. Agnes Regier gave a
reading The Meaning of Springtime.
During the business $50.00 was
designated to the fair board.
Joan Smith, Verlyn Fisher and Ina
Neeb are the voting delegates to the
district annual to be held in May in
Elimville.
The annual meeting was held with
Mildred Klopp presiding. The
minutes, treasurer's report and con-
vener's reports were read and ap-
proved. Mildred installed the follow-
ing officers: president, Mrs. Harold
Smith; first v/p Miss Kay Hay; se-
cond v/p Mrs. Keith Westlake;
secretary Mrs. Ward Neeb and
treasurer Mrs. Harold Thiel.
SS planning
On Tuesday, April 9, the Huron -
Perth Catholic Secondary School
planning committee met with.parents
and ratepayers at St. Boniface. It was
one of 12 important meetings held
across the counties, beginning March
20.
Visit sugar bush
On Tuesday the children of the
Bean Sprout Nursery School enjoyed
going to the Schilbe sugar bush in
Bayfield and seeing how maple syrup
is made. On Thursday, April 11 is
grandparents day at the nursery
school. Help appreciated

spent Holy. Week helping out Fr.
Mooney with all the Easter services.
Easter visitors
George and Rosalie Harvey, son
John and Ellen Harvey, and the lat-
ter's mother, Mrs. Margaret Masse of

weekend at their cottage north of St.
Joseph's.

Anne Besozzi and son Steven of
California spent a few days and
Easter with her parents Frank and
Gerry Kane, returning home on April
16.
A very nice family Easter dinner
and get-together was held on Sunday,
April 7 at the home of Mozart and
Marie Gelinas Sr. with all their
children, spouses and grandchildren
attending. The "First Holy Commu-
nion" of Brian Gelinas and Renee
Sweeney was also celebrated.
The family of Mr. and Mrs. Tony
Denomme gathered together for
Easter dinner at the home of their
daughter Evelyn and Pat Regier.
Larry and Marion Rogers and fami-
ly and Sid and Dora Rogers of Lon-
don, along with Bill and Ruth -Ann
Mills of Palmerston, spent Sunday
with their mother, Mrs. Gertie
Fleischauer and all enjoyed Easter
dinner at the Bayview Inn.
Several Easter family gatherings
were held throughout town over the
holiday weekend. The children of Mr.
and Mrs. Earl Flaxbard came on Sun-
day from Ingersoll, Kitchener and
London.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene O'Brien held
Easter dinner for their family on
Sunday. ,
Miss Donna Merner of Toronto
spent the holiday season with her
parents, Arnold and Belle Merner. A
family Easter supper was held on
Sunday.
Ted and Sarah Robson and family
of Windsor visited on Sunday and.
celebrated Easter with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Corriveau.
Miss Kim Fisher of Sudbury spent
from Thursday to Monday with her
parents, Bob and June Fisher.
Jim and Marg Kendall and two
children of St. George ( near Brant-
ford) spent the weekend with her
brother and family, Ed and Dorothy
Smith and relatives in t e area.
A pre -Easter family dinner was
held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Phil
Overholt on Sunday, March 31.
