Mrs. Miner's purpose was to show us that although we were not oreseut s edvi. r. (y'' Do we stand up for what is right, Do we help those who are hungry. thirsty, naked or in jail'' The disciples also did nothing duo ing the crucifixion when -Christ need ed them most. Peter denied Christ three times. lk►es this describe any oI us'' at the crucifixion, we are guilty of committing the same sins which caus- ed the people to crucify Christ. Judas has been protrayed as being both a zealot who would go to any length to prove his ideals and a lover of riches. Pilate yielded to public opinion and social pressure. To avoid Pilate's mistake we must stand up for what is right and give.our young people the strength andsupport to resist "peer pressure". Herod's attitude was one of indif- ference. We give away only what we have left over after we have everything we %rant. It is very tempting to take ad- vantage of others in business. The Pharisees criticized others but did nothing to help those who had sinned or were in trouble.
