If they must visit a hospital or clinic, we drive them to their appointments and pick them up afterwards. (Com- plimentary, included in room rate). We provide 24 hour staff and securi- ty, so that no one is ever alone without available assistance. We provide laundry services and meals. A com- plimentary breakfast of toast and cof- fee is provided, or three meals a day are provided for $10.00. We can ac- commodate 47 guests. We at Fairhaven feel that such a service is desperately needed in a ci- ty of our size. Hotel accommodations, cab fares and meals are an expense which is unaffordable. to many who must visit Toronto. In addition, senior citizens or the disabled often cannot manage on their own and require assistance. The need is very real and' the lack of support systems almost non-existent. Since our guest list is filled with residents from your community, we are making you aware of our service in the hope that you will help us to make our service known. Those who need it most are unaware of our ser- vice, and it is difficult for us to reach those people. The media in Toronto have given our service excellent coverage, but the information often does not reach the out -lying areas. Our plans include opening a second lodge if the need exceeds what we have available.
