With each passing week. our
eagerness for balmy spring weather
increases. We spent a few mornings
this past week around the block soak-
ing up the sunshine. This morning
we'd be more likely to have a
snowball fight:
This past Monday afternoon was
the last day of the month on which
Unit 3. Hensall United Church came
over for bingo. We'd like to thank the
ladies for joining us for bingo and for
the lovely prices they supplied. The
ladies present this week were Freda
Boa, Sarah Dick. Marg Cole. Dorothy
Brintnell and Helen Roberts.
The Bethel Club Bible singers came
in on Monday evening. We really en-
joyed the music. It was good to see
them again.
Rev. Bob Donnon led our worship
on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Donnon
and Mrs. Erlene Stewart assisted
with the service. Mr. and Mrs. Don -
non sang a lovely duet.
The Lakeview Youth (:roup came
in Tuesday evening to sing for us.
They were delightful.
On Wednesday afternoon we had a
sing -song. We sang many of our old
favourites.
Friday afternoon we watched a
movie called "Magic Of Disneyland".
It was beautiful. We treated ourselves
to ice cream cones after the movie.

Sharon Wurm greeted the con-
gregation at the United ('hurch on
Sunday morning and Murray Ware-
ing. Murray- McGregor, Mark
McGregor and Lloyd Ferguson were
the ushers. Mr. McDonald continued
his Lenten series speaking on the
theme of ('hrist as King. Ile spoke
from the Palm Sunday story along
with the part of the Good Friday story
'from Matthew. "We are created for
involvement". he said, created for
life, created to be loved and to love,
created to giver ourselves away in the
reckless abandonment of caring for
others. Such a life means suffering,
but it also means joy, the joy of live
together. the joy of being of some use
to some other person. the joy of shar-
ing and living the life we were created
to live.'"
The Senior and Junior choir joined
together Palm Sunday to open the ser-
vice. The Junior Choir also sang
"Come Children Join To Sing" from
the Spanish Melody. and the Senior
choir sand "Ten Thousand Angels" by
Ray Overholt
During the children story, Mr.
McDonald had the children form a
band which then paraded around the
church to set the mood for the story
of the first Psalm Sunday procession
into the city. The congregation were
reminded of the Maunday Thursday
service to be held on Thursday even-
ing at 7:30 p.m. at which time com-
munion will be served. Also the
Easter services next Sunday with the
Sunrise Service at 7:00 a.m. followed
by breakfast, and the Easter family
service at 11:00 a.m. The congrega-

United Church met on Tuesday and
made plans for their Church Anniver-
sary, which will take place on Sunday.

received that Jamie Westman has ac-
cepted our invitation to be the guest

Kippen 4 -Hers meet
By Margaret lioggarth
The third and fourth meetings of the
Kippen 3 4-H club were held at leader
Joyce Wilson's home on Tuesday
March 12 at 2 p.m. We opened with
the 4-H pledge, completed our roll
calls, and exchanged books to check
and see if they were up to date. Yvette
Predhomme read the minutes.
The material for meeting three was
read over, and we learned the parts
of the sewing machine. Joyce Wilson
demonstrated how we were to do our
samples.
We had a snack break, when we
decided on the name of Sewing
Sweeties for our club. Pale green was
decided on as a background colour for
our cover picture.
Karen De Jong offered to write up
the minutes for meetings three and
four.
The sixth meeting of the Sewing
Sweeties was held at Eileen Town-
send's home on Tuesday March 26 at
7 p.m. After opening with the 4-H
pledge, Karen De Jong read the
minutes of the last meeting. Books
were checked for up-to-dateness. Roll
call was showing a ribbing sample.
The material for meeting six was
read and Joyce Wilson looked over
our books and patterns. Our com-
pleted books are to be handed in to the
leaders by April 19.
Achievement Day will be held on
May 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Huron Centen-
nial Public School, Brucefield.

Marsden at the teenage Masquerade Dance in the Hensall Community
Centre.
The ministry of music was provid-
ed by the choir singing "He Became
Poor". Pastor Moffat's sermon was
entitled "The table of Forgiveness".
The service of the Sacrament of
Communion was conducted by Pastor
Moffat, who explained that the Lord's
supper involves four actions: Take,
Bless, Break and Give, which go back
to Christ's actions in the upper room.
Pastor Moffat chose to have the
communion • served in the
Presbyterian tradition: the elders
carried the bread and wine to the peo-
ple in the pews. The pastor express-
ed hope the service would be truly
meaningful and uplifting to all
participants.
Bulletin reminder that next Sun-
day, April 7, will be Easter Sunday

IT'S BETER TO BE AT HONE
Ongoing medical care no longer has to mean an extended stay in hospital. Most
people recover faster and feel better in the comfort of their own home.
Across Ontario, the Ministry of Health's Home Care Program can bring the
health services you need right to your doorstep - services like visiting nurses,
physio and other therapies, drugs, dressings and medical supplies, laboratory
services. Homemaking and meals -on -wheels are purchased from local
community services as needed.
There is no charge, if you qualify. To be eligible you must he under the medical
supervision of a doctor, and need a professional health service that cannot he met
on an outpatient basis.
Here's how it works. On the advice of your doctor, you may he admitted to the
Program either from a hospital or from your home. A home care team, in
consultation with your doctor, will provide the visiting service you need. Once
you are well enough, you will be discharged from the program and referred to
other community services as needed.
For more information on the Home Care Program and whether you qualify.
