Priestley's psychological thriller, An Inspector Calls, has been held over one week to April 20 due to record-breaking ad- vance sales. Two days prior to the play's opening on March 27 ticket sales reached 15,798, or 79 percent higher than any other pre -opening sales figure in the current season. An Inspector Calls is the fourth Grand Theatre production to be held over in 84/85. Successful attendance figures also attributed to the extend- ed runs of You Can't Take It With You (81 percent), Captivatin' Cole (87 per- cent) and Painting Churches (70 per- cent) . Originally scheduled to close on April 13, An Inspector Calls holdover will offer seven new performances. The production stars Tony Van Bridge in the title rold with Betty Leighton, Richard Curnock, Ian Deakin, Mary Haney, Dolora Harvey and Jeremy Henson.
