Campbell's home.
Prayer and a hymn sing preceded
the lesson,. led by Doris Peebles.
The lesson title was "Am -I Free?"
based on scripture from Romans
6:1-14, from the workshop.
Closing prayer by Betty Campbell
with special requests for sick. shut-ins
and bereaved.

George Chowen, a former resident
of Southcott Pines, passed away at his
home in Stratford, Sunday evening,
March 24. Funeral service was held
Wednesday, March 27 from the ifeath
Lesley Funeral Home in Mitchell. Mr.
Chowen is survived by his wife Marie
( Aikens ) Chowen, two daughters and
nine grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Thursday
for the late Cecil Lovie at Dashwood
Funeral Home. Pallbearers were his
five sons. Edward, Gary, Dave, Paul
and Bill, and son-in-law Ted Stanlake.
Four grandchildren were flower
bearers. Interment was at Grand
Bend Cemetery.

the Stanley Complex on Friday iiight
drew the biggest crowd in a long time,

Margaret Dowson. Prizes for low
score went to Mrs. Sandy Pepper and
Don Barris. Winners of the draw
prizes were Eileen Consitt, Mabel
McClinchey. Della Slavin, Rachel

church has been changed to an even-
