Personals George Chowen, a former resident of Southcott Pines, passed away at his home in Stratford, Sunday evening, March 24. Funeral service was held Wednesday, March 27 from the ifeath Lesley Funeral Home in Mitchell. Mr. Chowen is survived by his wife Marie ( Aikens ) Chowen, two daughters and nine grandchildren. Funeral service was held Thursday for the late Cecil Lovie at Dashwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers were his five sons. Edward, Gary, Dave, Paul and Bill, and son-in-law Ted Stanlake. Four grandchildren were flower bearers. Interment was at Grand Bend Cemetery.
