Has Beans win tournament at Falls
The Zurich Has Beans made a fruit-
ful trip to Niagara Falls on the
weekend bringing home the "F" divi-
sion championship in a 56 team
oldtimers hockey tournament.
The Zurich club chalked up five
straight victories. They started off
with an impressive win over Walker-
ton 8 -3 and followed with identical 6-3
decisions over Chippawa and Guelph
Kinghts of Columbus.
The division semi-final pitting the
Pis Beans against Erin Mills provid-
ed to be very close and exciting.
The two teams played to a 2-2 tie in
regulation time and overtime. At this
point each coach named five players
to participate in a shoot-out.
After the 10 shots had been taken,
only one goal was recorded and that
was by Bob Johnston of the Has
Beans.
In the final, the Zurich club edged
Guelph K of C 3-1 and the right to
bring home the trophy.
In addition to the 'F' championship

Hawks play improves.
but lose third straight
The Exeter Hawks suffered their
third straight loss at the rec centre,
Friday, but it was a much superior ef-
fort to that which the club displayed
in the other two defeats.
They played the northern division
leading Tavistock Braves on even
ground throughout the contest in
which they ended up on the short end
of a 3-1 verdict.
Don Hamilton shot the home crew
into a lead at the 6:23 mark of the first
period when he finished off a play
with Steve Gould and Ted Hodgins.
Tavistock pulled even at the 3:30
mark of the second when they beat
netminder Jason VanHaarlem and
they potted the eventual winner on a
powerplay marker at the 9:46 mark.
The insurance tally came at the 14:45
mark of the third after the Hawks had
failed on some good chances to knot
the count.
Both teams stuck strictlyto hockey
and took three minors each.
Van Haarlem ended up with 28
saves, while Mike Oliver had 30 for
the Braves.

/ Rust Chock Maintenance Program
/ really works
Proved over 10 years without one warranty claim
Rust Check Is tike no otter rust treatment available today. It is tea only system that works
on both new and used vehicles, even where rust Is obvious.
"Rust Check is economical, dean
and sats. •
For a very low annual cost. rust can
be held in check for years. Unlike oil.
tar and waxed -based sprays, Rust
Check is so clean and harmless 0
can be safely applied to chrome,
door locks and handles. Rust Check
will not damage asphalt.
Todays new lighter unitized car
bodies need Rust Check protection
because rust, besides speeding
depreciation will actually weaken
the car structure. Older vehicles w111
last longer and maintain a hlgtier
trade-in value because Rust Check
checks the spread of existing rust.
/How Rust Check works
Rust Check is a special formula
that will: .
1. Evaporate moisture.
2. Penetrate existing rust, tight
seams and crevices, right through
to the base metal for maximum
protection.
3 Creep continually to provide year
'round protection.
Applied while you watch.
Only one hour is required for a
complete Rust Check treatment. Rust
Check can be applied in any kind of
weather. Heat, rain, snow and slush
will not affect its performance.

The 18% RSP. From DSP.
l5years make it
count for more.
Eighteen per cent is an impressive retum for
any investment.
But what makes it truly significant —
particularly for Retirement Savings Plans
is time. Because it's the long-term
record that counts.
Which is why we believe
Industrial Growth Fund is an
excellent RSP investment.
Over the past 15 years, this
top -performing investment
Fund has "looked both ways"
to average 18% in compound
annual retums—and achieved
total growth of 1263% in net
asset value since inception.
It's done well in the short-
term, too, averaging 19% annually for the most
recent three years.
That's exceptional performance. But at
Dominion Securities Pitfield it's the 15 years that
count for more with us.
If long-term performance is
what you're looking for in an
RSP, you should at least con-
sider Industrial Growth Fund.

information on The 18% RSP
— and how it can count more
for you — complete and

Choosing uS could be your most
important RSP decision.
