Portia: The quality of mercy is not
strain'd; It droppeth, as the gentle
rain from heaven, Upon the place
beneath; it is twice blessed; It
blesseth him that gives, and him that
takes; 'Tis mightiest in the mightiest;

Introduction of the Minty book on
Korea was ably presented by Mary
Scafe at the Ailsa Craig United

day evening.
Eleven missionaries are supported
by the United Church in South Korea.
Knowing more about that country has
been gained by watching the televi-

sions this year.
President Mary Clarke welcomed
twenty ladies to the meeting with a
New Year's thought. All repeated the
United Church purpose.
Following this, Margaret Wilson,
unit 3 leader, in her worship service,
read a thought provoking New Year's
reading from last year's column of
Gwyn Whilsmith of the Exeter T -A
paper.
Two suitable hymns were sung with
Lorraine Neil at the piano, offering
was received by Ruby McLean and
dedicated by Margaret with prayer.
after which Alice Dickens read the
scripture, Colossians 3:12-17 and 23-25
