failing to persuade another lady to see
the light, he just enjoyed knowing it.
Tony Laughrene stated Jesus is the
light of the world.
Dressed like a biker, Doug Butler,
with Martha Butler, looking very
casual, sang Jesus Your So Wonder-
ful in an upbeat style. The Acts of the
Apostles. youth group, first acted like
chickens in a hen house. When a girl
told them they don't become chickens
just being in a chicken house, they
decided to portray used cars on a us-
ed
car lot. The same girl again told,'
them they could not be used ears. This
time they decided they would be
Christians just because they went to.
church. The same girls then told them .
to become a real Christian they had
to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Reading about different hands,
Jane Duquette told how people misus-
ed the use of their hands. Tony
Laughrene and Karen Mason acted
these wrong actions until -Mike Arm-
strong, as Jesus, showed them hands
of love could bring love and joy to the
world. He was nailed to the cross, but
did not stay there.
Next skit a girt told a young man
Jesus loves him and everyone. From
Phillippians 2:3 a group told Jesus
never fails, and we are not to be
selfishly thinking of ourselves.
Tony Laughrene actively exalted
money, money. money. Cathy Mason
kept jerking her head, saying she was
good enough. Laura Hefferman ex-
tolled sex. sex, sex. They all fell into
hell. satan came along and said he
promised them much. but all was lies.
Nello Romagnoli, as silly Willie,
and Verle Bend. as Johnny Cash,
were the Bible College Blues singers
doing Back to School Again, accom-
panied by Nello playing his guitar.
Young people presented the World
Series. Mark Fox gave a rundown on
the Bible prophets as game players
against the demons of darkness. Verle
Bend was impressed with Jesus being
the top coach helping His players be-
ing victorious players. Mrs. Jana
Lypn Rutledge played the piano ac-
companying Mrs. Charlene Hazeen
who sang Ile Watches Over All
While Nello Romagnoli played his
guitar. Tony Abbott read of Father
Spirit singing a song of love with
Mark Kirkey acting as the white
Spirit singer. Black world hater came
to disturb the singer tempting him to
sing evil songs. The world hater
played a tempting tune on a flute, but
Christian singer sent him away.
Mrs. Charlene Hazeen read a story
of children enslaved by a witch. Mrs.
Jana Lynn Rutledge acted out as she
told the story of a lion coming to
rescue them. Tospare a boy about to
be killed by the witch, the lion offered
himself. and died, This story -sym-
bolized Jesus' sacrifice on Calvary.
Sunday: Morning
Rick Thornton led the song service
Sunday morning. Rev. Roger Mason
spoke from Matthew 6:12. concerning
forgiveness of debts and debtors.
taken from Jesus' model prayer.
Jesus wanted Christians to have a
spirit of forgiveness to release people
from offenses. John 1:9 tells up to con-
fess wrong doing to God to continue
in a right relationship with God.
Rev Roger Mason Sunday evening
ministered from Genesis 45:1-8. 15.
with Genesis 50:15-21. the story of
Joseph's forgiveness of his brothers.
Ile could have used his position to
wreak vengeance against his
brothers. but God had dealt with him
in a tremendous way. The principles
of forgiveness were lived out in
.Joseph's life Joseph is one of the few
men in the Bible of which nothing evil
was ever said of him.
