The Christmas meeting of
the Exeter UCW was held
December 8 in ladies parlour.
Each lady was greeted by a
member of Margaret Prout's
group and presented with a
glass of hot cider and sounds
of Christmas music.
Unit leaders Sharon Kirkby
welcomed all and remarked
on, the lovely Christmas
decorations. Roll call was
answered by 40 members
with, Christmas Is...
Sharon Kirkby thanked all
the ladies for their help
throughout the year at the
many functions catered to by
the UCW. An assistant Unit
Leader is still needed for the
Evening Unit.

contact Mavis Atthill if in-

Marion Kerlake are to pur-
chase gifts for the residents of
James St.group home using
the tea money. The ladies
were thanked who went
visiting to the Queensway

the recommendations that

that she was collecting money
for Mandate renewals. Jessie
Ross read a thank you letter
received from Dorothy
