Carmel church, September 11, 1982 with Reverend Father J. P. Nelligon and Rev. Barbara Laing officiating. Pam is the daughter of Don and Donna O'Brien and Steve is the son of Bill and Gloria Bedour, all of Zurich. The bride was attended by maid of honour Cindy O'Brien of Lon- don, Carolyn Rau, Zurich, Gail Oke, London and Amy Wildfong, Zurich. Pat Bedard was the best man, while Jeff O'Brien, Tim Bedour and Brent O'Brien acted as groomsmen. Guests were ushered by Joe Rau.and Ran- dy Oke, London. Guest speaker, Mrs. Peggy Rivers, Goderich, co- ordinator for the Christmas Bureau, spoke about the ser- vices that the Bureau pro- vides for some area families at Christmas. Her assistant, from the Exeter district, Mrs. Anne Grey also accompanied her for the evening. It was a most informative evening and everyone enjoyed a buffet lunch and tea. Rigney. December 15 a meal will be held at noon followed by euchre. There will be an ex- change of a Christmas gift valued at two dollars. Several ladies from the CraigwielApartments visited recently with Mrs. Della Steeper, a patient in Exeter Hospital. Plan to attend the C.G.I:T. service in the United Church Sunday evening. Recently visiting with Alice Dickens were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Harrison of Ilderton. The United Church Women served a turkey banquet to the Parkhill -Ailsa Craig 4-H Club which held its annual awards night, November 24.
