Dawn O'Brien and Stephen Terrance Bedour
were united in marriage at Our lady of Mt. Carmel
church, September 11, 1982 with Reverend Father J. P.
Nelligon and Rev. Barbara Laing officiating. Pam is the
daughter of Don and Donna O'Brien and Steve is the
son of Bill and Gloria Bedour, all of Zurich. The bride
was attended by maid of honour Cindy O'Brien of Lon-
don, Carolyn Rau, Zurich, Gail Oke, London and Amy
Wildfong, Zurich. Pat Bedard was the best man, while
Jeff O'Brien, Tim Bedour and Brent O'Brien acted as
groomsmen. Guests were ushered by Joe Rau.and Ran-
dy Oke, London. After a honeymoon in Montreal, the
couple has taken up residence in Strathroy.

eter for the last 14 years,
CGIT is back! •
Although we've only been
active for four weeks we have
already' grown to eighteen
Canadian Girls In Training
and more participating each
week. The three enthusiastic
leaders are Cathy Mugford,
Joyce Morgan and Jan Flaro.
Meetings are held every
Tuesday evening from 7:00 to
8:30 p.m. at the Exeter United
Church and any'new girls who
may be interested in joining
CGIT for fun, fellowship, pro-
jects and community services
are welcome.
At the moment one project

day. Another project that is
nderway is an artistically
onstructed scrapbook that
will be hand delivered to the
Children's War Memorial

The lodge hall was
decorated for the festive occa-
sions to be held in the month
of December. The next
meeting will begin with the
annual Christmas turkey din-

Guest speaker, Mrs. Peggy
Rivers, Goderich, co-
ordinator for the Christmas
Bureau, spoke about the ser-
vices that the Bureau pro-
vides for some area families
at Christmas. Her assistant,
from the Exeter district, Mrs.
Anne Grey also accompanied
her for the evening. It was a
most informative evening and
everyone enjoyed a buffet
lunch and tea.

December 15 a meal will be
held at noon followed by
euchre. There will be an ex-
change of a Christmas gift
valued at two dollars.
Several ladies from the
CraigwielApartments visited
recently with Mrs. Della
Steeper, a patient in Exeter
Hospital.
Plan to attend the C.G.I:T.
service in the United Church
Sunday evening.
Recently visiting with Alice
Dickens were Mr. and Mrs.
Lyle Harrison of Ilderton.
The United Church Women
served a turkey banquet to
the Parkhill -Ailsa Craig 4-H
Club which held its annual
awards night, November 24.
