Here is what the minister of
Education grant for French
Language schools for this
year over and above their
base budget is 817.7 million.
Their total budget for French
language education for the
year is 868.7 million. This in a
province which is 95 percent
English speaking. Only one
percent of the french can't
speak English:
In Quebec you can't even
put up an English sign on your
own property or you are rul-
ed. No nglish on anything on
their store shelves, in Ontario,
everything has got to have
french on it or you can be fin-
ed, in Quebec they have im-
mersion classes to teach the
English their language. In
Ontario they have immersion
schools trying to teach the 95
percent English -their
language.
Something is wrong with
our English leaders of our
society.
Best wishes to you Mr.
Editor and your staff.
