Recipes followed by, the Ode and Mary Stewart Collect. The roll call, a vanished custom in our community was answered by 23 ladies. A display to be set up at Kirkton and Exeter fairs was discussed. Mrs. Marjorie Johns and Mrs. Shirley Cooper gave a report on the 85th anniversary of W.I. held in Toronto at which Mrs. Ziny Westebring-Muller was guest speaker, • The program was turned over to the ,Tweedsmuir History Committee. Ruth Skinner gave a reading Sum- mer Leaves. The motto, Memory is a Wonderful Treasurer Chest, if.you know how to pack, it was given by Mrs. Lavona Delbridge. A reading Think Only of Thee by Mrs. Jean Lynn followed with a sing song. Mrs. Buswell gave a reading Thankfulness and Ruth Skinner read the First Farmer and a story about the Banting House, the home of insulin. All members settled down with crochet hooks to learn how to use them. Next meeting everyone is to bring a wire clothes hanger and with any luck we'll get them covered. Your local library is part of the Mid- dlesex County Library system with over 170,000 volumes, any of which can be sent to your library at your request. If it isn't in the 'county system your request will go on to the regional resource centre, and then to the nay tional library through the inter -library loan system. Your book -may come from Edmonton or Halifax, but it will be sent right to your library for you. But what if you can't make the first step by going to the local library?
