quite small and ,cannot ac-
commodate large collections
of books. Don't let that worry
you. Just ask the librarian for
the book you want. Your local
library is part of the Mid-
dlesex County Library
system with over 170,000
volumes, any of which can be
sent to your library at your
request.
If it isn't in the 'county
system your request will go
on to the regional resource
centre, and then to the nay
tional library through the
inter -library loan system.
Your book -may come from
Edmonton or Halifax, but it
will be sent right to your
library for you.
But what if you can't make
the first step by going to the
local library? Perhaps you
are elderly, handicapped or
live far from a library and
have no transportation. Then
the library comes to you in
the form of Books by Mail.
To apply for that service
phone 438-8368 or write to the
Middlesex County Library at
Arva, NOM 1CO.
The beauty of it is, it's all
free. You have already paid
for these services in your
taxes. The helping hand is
there. Just reach out.
