Playground projects a success,
special dcT set Friday
The playgrounds of Exeter
and Huron Park held a pop
bottle drive and car wash
day. Both events went well,
with the Exeter playground
collecting around $70 total
from the two events.
Huron Park collected ap-
proximately $55 altogether
from this day as well. Both
Playgrounds appreciate the
help of the people from Ex-
eter and Huron Park in mak-
ing these events successful.
Also last week, the
playgrounds visited Ontario
Place in Toronto. The day
went well, with everyone en-
joying the different displays
and activities. The Children
especially liked "Children's
Village", where there were
water games and numerous
slides.
Thursday, August 19, the
playgrounds are planning on
visiting Rock Glen. They will
be leaving at 10:00 a.m. and
will be returning at 3:30 p.m.
The children will be taking a
hike around Rock Glen and
playing various games.
Anyone is welcome to at-
tend this trip, however
playground children will have
first opportunity to go. People
not in playground who wish to
go, will be asked to pay 11 to
cover expenses.
The special event day, Fri-
day is a party. This party in-
cludes a walk to Morrison
Dam and a camping cookout.
This party marks the end of
playground for the year.
A special thank you to all
people who helped with the
playground for it was great-
