Mrs. Mabel Needham,
Lucan was holidaying at Ip-
perwash Beach last week and
entertained 10 cousins and
friends Thursday from Ex-
eter, Lucan and Saintsbury.
A number of people from
this community attended the
Lucan Fair over the weekend,
also the parade. We were
pleased to see Bob Tindall
and his son Robert driving
their four Belgian horses in
the parade. .
Mrs. Mary Davis was lunch
guest with her sister, Mrs.
Alexia Atkinson, Sunday.

More than 50 parents and
children gathered last Mon-
day night at Shipka Com-
munity Ceptre for the wrap
party for the T -ball season.
The group of parents and
children played T -ball games,
and all enjoyed barbecued hot
dogs for lunch.
T -ball crests were
presented to the children.
Their coach, Ann Russell
received a dried flower
arrangement.
More than 30 parents and
children gathered for an end
of season party for the squirts
softball team Wednesday
night. They all went for a
swim at Yvonne Brown's pool
in Parkhill, then to Wayne
Mellin's home for a hot dog
