When evening shades are falling,
And i sit in quiet alone,
To my heart, there comes a

who passed away one year ago,
July 4, 1981.
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be,
So He closed his arms around you,
And whispered, "Come to Me".
You suffered much in silence
Your spirit did not bend,
You faced your pain with
courage,
Until the very end.
You tried to hard to stay with us,
Your fight was all in vain.
God took you to His loving home,
And freed you from all pain.
To lose someone you loved for
years,
Is hard beyond belief,
Your heart comes near to
breaking,
Time cannot stop a heartache
Or even stop a tear,
Or take a memory of someone
That we have loved for years.
To have to love and then to part,
Is the greatest sorrow of one's

Developments since the
November accord between
the Prime Minister and the
Provincial Premiers have
focused attention on the
emancipation of women and
children (born or unborn)
from the bondage of chattel
property in family and state
relationships.
Hebraic -Christian civil-
ization freed women and
children from chattel
slavery. This freedom is now
being written into law.
Equal rights or equal
justice before the law im-
plies equal recognition of the
masculine principle of
authority and the feminine
principle of rights. In
relation to her husband a
woman is the feminine
principle of freedom and
consent; in relation to her
child she mediates the
masculine principle of order
and authority, and the child
(born or unborn) becomes
the feminine principle:
This is also the basis of the
two-party political system,
an ever-present reminder
that life is not placed at our
disposal, but in our keeping.
There will always be
situations where rights are
in conflict which must be
dealt with individually and
which sometimes can be
resolved only by voluntary
sacrifice.
But a person would be an
exploiter and enslaver if he
or she demanded inalienable
rights for himself or herself
and then refused to give the
same rights to others, in-
cluding fathers, mothers,
husbands, wives, brothers, •
sisters, daughters-in-law,
sons-in-law, children (born
or unborn), and adopted
children, all of whom are in
the power of someone else to
be respected, used, or
destroyed.
Those who understand the
moral law know that in the
end whatever we do returns
to sit on our own shoulders.
Judith Brigham, Ph.IS.
