Here Are Some Facts We Thought You Should Know::
The car industry has
changed. Automobile
manufacturers have
poured billions "of dollars
into introducing the world
car. The big cars are gone.
And they'll never be back.
When your new car needs
collision damage repaired,
the body shop will
suddenly be responsible
for axle and wheel
alignment. Most shops
• cannot do this total job.
Three years ago Stonetown
Custom Collision were told
the industry was going to
change because of the
world car...that's why
we've invested in the new
universal Lazer BEAM
Aligner, the most
complete, accurate and
simple collision and
alignment measuring
system in the world.
General Motors and other
automobile manufacturers
are rapidly changing over
their assembly plants to
use laser technology to
.snake sure their cars are
properly assembled. To
quote a GM manufacturing
expert. "we think it's a
good devil bet ter than
checking sheet metal with
(regular) mechanical
gadgets". Lasers will he
used to check suspension
location and measurement
control points to insure the
highest quality control.
The laser will be used to
measure the length, depth,
and width of the spaces
around such items as
doors, windows and
taillights to help make
sure the car is properly
assembled.
The investment in laser
technology will run into
the millions of dollars for
the manufacturers in their
effort to build a better
automobile. Stonetown
Custom Collision's
investment in the Kansas
Jack Lazer Beam Aligner •
will enable us to hold these
same rigid standards. If
the • automobile
manufacturer feels it
takes the accuracy of a
laser to safely build his
cars, doesn't it make sense
to have collision damage
repaired using the same
quality control
procedures? The shop that
doesn't • have such a
system is just using
"guess work". Withoutan
investment in this costly
equipment, they may be
able to do a "cheaper job"
on your car, but is this
what you want; a cheaper
