Automobile manufacturers have poured billions "of dollars into introducing the world car. The big cars are gone. And they'll never be back. When your new car needs collision damage repaired, the body shop will suddenly be responsible for axle and wheel alignment. Most shops • cannot do this total job. To quote a GM manufacturing expert. "we think it's a good devil bet ter than checking sheet metal with (regular) mechanical gadgets". Lasers will he used to check suspension location and measurement control points to insure the highest quality control. The laser will be used to measure the length, depth, and width of the spaces around such items as doors, windows and taillights to help make sure the car is properly assembled. The investment in laser technology will run into the millions of dollars for the manufacturers in their effort to build a better automobile. Stonetown Custom Collision's investment in the Kansas Jack Lazer Beam Aligner • will enable us to hold these same rigid standards.
