Seniors plan area rally,
two ladies groups meet.

The zone secretary, Mrs.
Irene ( Kent Johns of Exeter.
said the zone was an
amalgamation of 13 seniors
clubs. from across Huron
un75he said the group expects
about 100 to 125 members to
attend but added the rally
was open to an seniors and
seniors clubs even if not af-
filiated with the USCO.
The spring rally is one of
two annual meetings held in
the zone, another is held in the
fall. Mrs. Johns said the ral-
ly will combine both business
and pleasure.
The guest speaker will be
Jack Lerette from the USCO
in Toronto. The assembly will
also be voting on zone execu-
tives for a two year term.
The group also holds ashort

Johns noted the meeting
"gives the clubs a feeling that
they are really involved."
Registration at the Zurich
community centre nips from
9:30 to 10:30 on Wednesday.

was held at the home of Mrs.
Wilda lazesiga March 25 with
10 members present.

Redeemer," was sung and
MIs. Florence Leach then
offered prayer. The roll call
was answered with scripture
verses containing the word
The .minutes, of the last
meeting were read and
business dealt with. The
financial report was then
read by Mrs. Mary Blan-
chard. A poem entitled
"Commit Thy Way to the
Lord" was read by Mrs.
Echth Millar.
Mrs. Dorreeai &b read
scripture from Galatians
5:22 and requested that each
lady give a testimony of
thanksgiving to God and also
prayer requests. A time of
prayer followed when many
requests were talon to the
Lord.

McDonald.
President Ann Kennedy
chaired the meeting Elsie
McDonald won the mystery
prize. A donation of :100 was
made to Vanastra recreation

London Wednesday, April 7
to play bingo with the
veterans.
Two teams will be going to
Waterloo for regional
bowling and one to
Leamington Saturday, Aped
3 for regional darts.

London were guest speakers.
They showed slides on the
