Anglican church news
Dr. Fox from Huron
College in London was in
charge of the service at St.
John's this past Sunday. Dr.
Fox based his sermon on the
gospel of Mark 1 verses 22.
The authority of Jesus.
The gospel stated that the
people were astonished with
he authority of his teaching.
t that time of civilization
he scribes were the trained
eachers making quotations
aid down by their great
abbis.
Jesus made powerful
tatements - healing men
y and women, even lepers. He
changed the directions of
men's lives, such as the
e fishermen who left their nets
to follow Him.
nlDr. Fox asked the
question, "Are we today
listening to Him? Does He
e touch us?" Listen. He can
put us together again, from
broken relationships and
from misspent lives.
Hear Him when He calls -
He will come into your life if
you will let Him. He is the
authority of love.
