These girls have chosen the club name of "The poor and kneedy." Roll call was, "Name one way of providing a warm place for rising dough." The leaders and girls made crescent tolls and other kinds and shapes of rolls, and also made buttermilk bread. - The baked products were sampled for lunch. Next meeting is at Patti Love's home on evening of February 15. There were three charges laid under the Liquor Licence Act, and 11 laid under the Highway Traffic Act. Two people were charged for driving while being impaired, the three were charged under the Provincial Park Act. Two people were charged with violating the Motorized Snow Vehicle Act. There was one incident of wilful damage, and eight miscellaneous occurrences. The detachment also in- vestigated a house fire in Port Franks on February 7. According to the police report, the fire spread from a fireplace left unattended when tour people left the house to go snowmobiling. The incident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. The house, located on Edward St., is owned by John McThee of Strathroy. There was one traffic accident reported to the Pinery OPP this week.
